BOWLING GREEN, KY – A 22-year-old woman faces multiple charges after a series of crashes that police say are deliberate in Bowling Green on Tuesday.
WNKY reports that the initial incident was a reported injury collision close to 3:50 p.m. at an apartment complex on Rocky Court where the suspect vehicle had crashed into a structure at the complex.
The driver, 22-year-old Jamilya Wilson, left several passengers at the scene and drove away in the vehicle after responders arrived.
Wilson fled down several streets before returning to Rocky Court to crash into an apartment before attempting to flee on foot.
Wilson was arrested with resistance. She was taken to Medical Center ER for evaluation, though no injuries are reported.
One juvenile in the apartment is reported to have been injured in the collision.
Wilson faces several charges including attempted murder, DUI, reckless driving, and possession of a controlled substance.
