LEXINGTON, KY – A crash in Lexington killed two elderly Lexington residents on Sunday afternoon, according to the Lexington Herald Leader.
The crash occurred close to 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Harrodsburg Road and Dogwood Trace when an SUV and a pickup truck reportedly collided.
The fatality victims have been identified as 87-year-old Evelyn and 86-year-old David Powers.
A third motorist was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of this crash is unknown at this time, and an investigation is underway.
