Three-car pile-up on Gene Snyder hospitalizes three people

LOUISVILLE, KY – Three people were hospitalized following a multiple car pile up on the Gene Snyder Freeway on Friday morning.

According to WLKY, the crash took place close to 7 a.m. on Interstate 65 near Park Road when three vehicles collided with one another in a chain reaction.

A passenger in one of the rear-ended vehicles was transported to University of Louisville Hospital in critical condition. The driver of that vehicle was hospitalized with less serious injuries.

The driver of the third vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

It is unknown what caused this crash at this time.
