Narrative

At 9:40a.m., a semitruck driver crashed into a KIA on KY 635. The following authorities responded to the call: Post 11 Personnel, Pulaski County EMS, Since Hill Fire Department, and the Pulaski County Coroner. The driver of the semi, Fred Haste JR., 66, of Bethelridge, KY, died at the scene. Benjamin L. Durham III, of Danville was driving the KIA and did not sustain any major injuries, although he was still treated at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Kentucky State Police Post 11 Trooper Shane Bowling remains in charge of the investigation.
