GREENVILLE, KY – A child was killed and a driver was hospitalized following a rollover crash on KY-181 South near Greenville Tuesday evening.
The Kentucky State Police report the accident occurred close to 6:50 p.m. when a Chevy Malibu driven by Greenville resident 56-year-old Rebecca Evans left the roadway and struck an embankment.
The fatality was an 11-year-old boy who was a passenger in the vehicle.
Responders transported Evans to the hospital for medical attention. The severity of the injuries sustained was not specified.
Police do not currently know what may have caused the accident.
