LOUISVILLE, KY – One man was killed and two others were hospitalized in Jefferson County when their SUV was disabled in the road from a prior accident Tuesday night.
WDRB reports that the fatality accident occurred shortly before midnight on Interstate 65 when a van crashed into an SUV that was flashing hazards in the road after having been involved in a collision with another vehicle.
The fatality victim, 21-year-old Emedi Assumani, was a passenger in the rear of the SUV. He was taken to Louisville Hospital where he later died.
Two other occupants in the SUV were transported to the hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
A Louisville Metro Police officer was on the scene checking the second vehicle from the initial crash. No injuries are reported in that accident.
