Head-on crash kills one driver, injures two others between Nancy and Somerset

SOMERSET, KY – One man was killed and two other people were injured after a crash in Pulaski County involving three vehicles.

WYMT reports that the crash occurred close to 2 p.m. when 41-year-old Michael Fillmore lost control of his Buick Park Avenue and entered into the oncoming lane.

He first struck a Ford Ranger driven by 19-year-old Roy Nicholas. Both the Ford and the Buick then struck a Freightliner commercial truck driven by 40-year-old William Galloway.

Fillmore was killed in the crash. Nicholas and Galloway were hospitalized for minor injuries.

Authorities have not commented on what circumstances may have caused the crash.
