MADISON COUNTY, KY – A crash in Madison County killed one man and injured another on Tuesday morning, according to WKYT.
The crash occurred close to 8:15 a.m. on KY-627 when a southbound pickup truck went into the oncoming lane and struck a northbound car driven by 62-year-old Robert O’rear head-on.
O’rear died after being transported to Baptist Health Hospital.
The driver of the pickup, 77-year-old Jerry Johnson, was transported to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No word on what is thought to have caused the crash, which is under investigation.
