LOUISVILLE, KY – A man faces multiple charges after running over a family of four in downtown Louisville Tuesday night, WAVE reports.
According to Louisville Metro Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 8 p.m. at the corned of 2nd and West Market Streets when a vehicle struck three adults and a child on the sidewalk.
All four were transported to the hospital, with University Hospital accepting the adults and Norton Children’s admitting the child. The severity of their injuries was not revealed at this time.
The driver, Lexington resident Michael Steele Empson Hurley, 33, was arrested and remains in custody. He faces charges including four counts of assault and DUI, and is held on a $500,000 cash bond at press time.
