CALDWELL COUNTY, KY – A man was injured in a collision in Caldwell County on Tuesday night, reports the West Kentucky Star. The accident took place close to 11 p.m. on Old Wilson Warehouse Road when 40-year-old Joshua Rowlands of Princeton had crashed his truck into a tree. Responders extricated Rowlands from the vehicle. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He received further treatment after being taken by air to Evansville. MADISON COUNTY, KY – A crash in Madison County killed one man and injured another on Tuesday morning, according to WKYT. The crash occurred close to 8:15 a.m. on KY-627 when a southbound pickup truck went into the oncoming lane and struck a northbound car driven by 62-year-old Robert O’rear head-on. O’rear died after being transported to Baptist Health Hospital. The driver of the pickup, 77-year-old Jerry Johnson, was transported to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. LEITCHFIELD, KY – An Eastfield woman was killed in a head-on collision in Grayson County on Thursday morning, according to WAVE 3. The crash occurred close to 8:30 a.m. near the 103 mile marker of Western Kentucky Parkway when an eastbound Jeep crossed over into the westbound lanes and struck a Ford Fusion. The fatality victim was 31-year-old Dakota Parks, the driver of the Ford. She was pronounced dead at the scene. OLDHAM, KY – A crash in Oldham County resulted in the death of a man last Friday night, according to WDRB. The accident took place on Rose Island Road close to 6:30 p.m. where responders arrived to the scene to discover a black Jaguar driven by 43-year-old Shelly Randolph of Chicago had gone off the roadway and struck a tree. Responders pronounced Randolph dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the accident. Investigators have yet to determine if impairment was a factor in the crash. HOPKINSVILLE, KY – One man was hospitalized after driving his car into a Game Xchange in Hopkinsville on Monday, reports WHOP am. The accident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. when a driver on Fort Campbell Boulevard went off the road for unknown reasons and struck the front of the building. The unnamed driver was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. The building was badly damaged, but no other injuries were reported.
