Teen killed in motorcycle accident in Meade County

MEADE COUNTY, KY- A 17 year-old New Albany motorcyclist died on US-60 when he collided into a truck Saturday night, WLKY Digital Team reports. A 24 year-old truck driver turned left just as the motorcyclist attempted to pass him. The teen was thrown from the motorcycle when he hit the truck’s rear door. The young motorcyclist was pronounced dead at Baptist Health Hardin. The truck driver did not sustain any injuries. Motorcyclist seriously injured on US-54

COLE COUNTY, KY – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 54 Sunday night, KMIZ reports. Around 6:20 p.m., near Old Bass Road, the driver was ejected from the vehicle after the motorcycle flipped. The motorcyclist, identified as 49-year-old Wingo resident Raymond L. Thomas, was airlifted to University Hospital. There his condition, initially reported as serious, is now listed as stable. Motorcyclist killed, two others injured in crash on KY 90

MONTICELLO, KY – One person was killed and two more were injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Wayne County on Tuesday. The incident occurred close to 2 p.m. when a Yamaha motorcycle southbound on KY-90 crashed into a Chevrolet pickup. The motorcyclist, identified as 28-year-old Michael McClelland, was killed in the crash. The two occupants of the Chevrolet were the driver 81-year-old Delmar Brumely and 71-year-old Wendell Kelsay. Two killed in head-on crash near Burkesville

BURKESVILLE, KY – A head-on crash claimed the lives of two drivers on KY 90 on Tuesday afternoon, WBKO reports. The accident took place close to 3:15 p.m. when a westbound Chevrolet Cruze veered into the oncoming lane and struck a Chevrolet Malibu. The drivers have been identified as Cave City resident 49-year-old Tara Reed in the Cruze Burkesville resident 79-year-old Bruce McCarty in the Malibu.
