LOUISVILLE, KY – A fatal crash on Sunday night has police investigating what they are calling a DUI case in Louisville, reports WHAS 11. The crash occurred close to 7:50 p.m. in the 5600 block of New Cut Road when a Nissan Rogue pulled out of a private driveway in front of a motorcyclist who crashed into the back of the SUV. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead after being taken to UofL for his injuries. He has been identified as James Purvis, 53. LOUISVILLE,KY – Two people were injured in a two-car collision that involved a Louisville Metro Police officer on Tuesday afternoon, reports WDRB. The crash took place close to 4:30 p.m. at 9th Street and West Broadway when two cars had collided, ejecting an occupant from the vehicle. LOUISVILLE, KY – A crash killed one woman and injured three other people in Louisville on Saturday morning, reports the WDRB. The accident occurred close to 2:30 a.m. at 42nd Street and Algonquin Parkway when the driver of an eastbound vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree after overcorrecting. The fatality victim, 22-year old Savannah Duckworth, was a passenger in that vehicle. She had been ejected from the vehicle in the crash. LOUISVILLE, KY – A fiery crash on Watterson Expressway resulted in one fatality and three hospitalizations on Sunday afternoon, reports WAVE 3. The crash took place close to 2:30 p.m. when a pickup truck driving the wrong way on Interstate 65 south struck several vehicles, causing the pickup to catch fire.
