SCOTTSVILLE, KY – A woman died, and at least two others were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash along the highway in Scottsville.
The accident occurred Saturday at the intersection of US-231 southbound and East Old State Road, which is on the northwest outskirts of the city.
Police say that a southbound 2017 Ford F-150 collided with an eastbound 2019 Lincoln MKC in the intersection, killing the driver of the Lincoln. Authorities identified the victim as Jeanette Carver.
Medics transported at least one passenger from each vehicle to area hospitals with undisclosed injuries.
Police are still investigating to determine fault in the accident.
