MOUNT VERNON, KY – A 53-year-old man was rushed to Rockcastle Regional Hospital, where he died after he crashed his 2004 Toyota Rav4 into a bus Tuesday.
This collision took place before 10:30 p.m. on South Wilderness Road. It is not immediately clear what led the 53-year-old man — James Mcpheron — to drift from the westbound directions into the eastbound lanes.
The bus driver, 43-year-old Roger Miller, appeared to have been unharmed.
