HOPKINSVILLE, KY – A 68-year-old man, a motorcycle operator, and his passenger, a 70-year-old woman, were sent to a hospital after they were hit by a driver turning left Monday.
This collision happened at the East 9th Street and South Walnut Street junction. The driver, 29-year-old Christian Walker from Arkansas, was driving west on East Ninth at the time of the crash while the motorcycle operator was going east.
Walker was unharmed, while the 68-year-old man, who was identified as Robert Moore from Cookeville, Tennessee, and the 70-year-old woman — Sandra Munabbih of Hopkinsville — were both taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of unspecified wounds.
Helmets and safety devices were worn by the involved parties.
