Narrative
PINEVILLE, KY – A 43-year-old man riding a motorcycle crashed into a car, leading his bike to catch on fire and claiming his life Tuesday evening.
This collision happened on Old Bell High Road. Bell County deputies said after the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle, his bike skidded prior to the crash.
First responders conducted life-saving measures on the motorcyclist — Jamie Wilder. However, despite their best efforts, Wilder succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene.
The car driver was an 18-year-old woman. It is unclear if she will face citations or charges.
