Narrative
HUSTONVILLE, KY – A 19-year-old woman operating a tractor-trailer lost her life after her truck overturned near Scenic View Amish School Thursday.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene — the 5100 block of KY 198 — around 7 a.m. They said the truck driver — Jayden Post of Danville — had, for reasons unclear, drifted off the road and overcorrected, which resulted in the truck to roll over. As a result, lumber had spilled onto the road.
Post succumbed to fatal wounds at the crash site. The Amish community helped Lincoln County authorities clear the scene, officials revealing it took more than six hours.
