ELIZABETHTOWN, KY – A semi-truck driver succumbed to fatal injuries after hitting a highway sign on the U.S. 31 W Bypass before 8 a.m. Friday. The sign did fall, and Elizabethtown Police said both northbound and southbound lanes closed so they could clear the scene.
