DAVIESS COUNTY, KY – A truck driver struck the back of a school bus and a student on the 7700 block of KY-81 around 3 p.m. Thursday. Daviess County deputies said the driver of the school bus was dropping off a student. When the student got out, he or she was hit by the pickup truck driver, who then struck the back of the bus. The student did not sustain injuries, and the 28 other students on the bus were unscathed. The drivers were taken to a hospital as a precaution, as the bus driver indicated a feeling of neck pain.
