Narrative
PADUCAH, KY – A 32-year-old man was killed after a head-on collision involving a 2022 RAM 5500 tank around 8 a.m. Tuesday. This collision occurred on the 1800 block of Krebs Station Road. Officials said the motorcyclist – Todd Ligon, 32, of Paducah – was traveling east while the other driver – Bobby Ives, 59, of Benton, KY – was going west. There was a garbage truck that was stopped. Ives, driving the RAM 5500 tank, tried to pass the garbage truck. However, he was unsuccessful and collided head-on with Ligon. As a result, Ligon succumbed to fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
