Narrative

BEATTYVILLE, KY – A 21-year-old man died, and two people were sent to the hospital for treatment after a pickup truck rollover crash on KY-11 along Zoe Post Office Road around 6:30 p.m. Friday. A preliminary report showed that the driver, 21-year-old Joshua Phillips, came into an embankment, causing the truck to roll over. Michael Combs was pronounced dead at the scene. Medics took 27-year-old Justin Hughes of Booneville to Clark Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while 18-year-old Kaedyn Turner was transported to the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
