LYON COUNTY, KY – A driver of a 2002 Dodge 1500 said he did not see the cyclist on KY-93 North when he unintentionally hit the cyclist, who ultimately suffered fatal injuries after 7 p.m. Wednesday. Kentucky State Police said the driver may not have seen the cyclist due to the sun’s glare. The driver, 67-year-old Newton Holt from Kuttawa, Kentucky, was unharmed. Police did not reveal pending charges. The cyclist was identified as 28-year-old Sean King, also from Kuttawa. King died at the scene.
