Narrative
LOUISVILLE, KY – A semi-truck driver lost control of the tractor-trailer, and it jackknifed, rolled over, and caught on fire on southbound I-65 before 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 8th. According to police, the force of the crash caused a portion of the cab to go over the wall, which led to debris spilling onto the road below. The driver died at the scene. The person’s identity has not been disclosed. The southbound lanes of I-65 reopened at 4:30 p.m. In addition, the roadway below the crash site was also closed so that crews could clean up the debris from the fire.
