Narrative
David Cartwright, 42, was killed when his car was hit as he ran a red light on 14t St. on April 9th. It was around 2:30a.m. on 14th Street and Park Avenue when Cartwright’s Nissan Armada was struck by a Ford Edge heading west on Park Avenue. Tiffany Thomas, 35, was the driver of the Ford. She reported that the Nissan rolled over and that Cartwright was then ejected while her car stopped after going onto the sidewalk. Cartwright later died while at Baptist Health Paducah. Thomas, Lannie Bush, and Kenya Hopkins were all hospitalized at the same hospital. They were all in the Ford as well. Two additional passengers were not harmed. Authorities were continuing the investigation.
