Narrative
A driver was killed and two passengers and two drivers were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash on US 62 on March 10th. The first collision happened when US 62’s eastbound traffic stopped for a turning vehicle. Carl Miner, 59, was driving his 1989 Chevrolet Camaro when it was rear-ended by Michael D. Wright’s 2009 Ford Flex. The Camaro was then pushed into the opposite lane where it collided head-on with Brandon Downs’ 2022 Chevrolet 2500. Minder died there at the scene. Christian Stayton, his 20 year-old passenger, was hospitalized at Deaconess Hospital. Both Wright and Tiffani Wright, his passenger, were also hospitalized but they were sent to Caldwell Medical Center. Finally, Downs was also hospitalized. He was sent to Baptist Health Madisonville.
