Narrative

On March 6th around 8:10p.m., James Boyd, 65, died when he walked onto US 23 straight into the path of a vehicle and was hit. The 2014 Toyota RAV-4 that hit Boyd was driven by Nathan Egler, 26. Boyd died after being hospitalized and no report was made on Egler’s condition. The emergency response crew for this case involved the Kentucky State Police Post 9, Lifeguard Ambulance Service, Allen Volunteer Fire Department. Detective Joshua Scott is leading the investigation.
