Fatal crash leaves 1 dead and 4 injured in Bimble

BIMBLE, KY- A 81 year-old was killed and four others injured when two vehicles collided on Tuesday in Knox County, WYMT reports.

On Tuesday evening, a 2016 Kia Soul and a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox crashed on U.S. 25E and KY-1304. The Soul drove into the Equinox as the Equinox was turning left.

The following four people were transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center: Stacey Ash, 42; James Ash, 68; Bridgett Mills, 32; and a seven year-old.

Thelma Ash of Oregon died after being taken to Barbourville ARH.

All those involved from the Ash family were in the Kia at the time of the incident. While Mills and the seven year-old were in the Equinox.

There is no indication right now that anyone was intoxicated.
