Fatal horse drawn buggy collision in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, KY- A man drove into a horse drawn buggy and injured all the passengers on Monday on Highway 1297, WBKO reports.

Trevor N. Glasgow was driving on Old Bowling Green Rd when he rear-ended the horse drawn buggy. His 2015 GMC Sierra drove into the buggy and threw four passengers out it.

The passengers who were ejected and injured were Ella Gingarich, 27, and three children who were respectively 6, 3, and 1 years-old. They were all subsequently hospitalized at Vanderbuilt Hospital.

The 6 year-old passed away from the injuries on Tuesday. The young woman and one of the children were recently announced to be in stable condition, while the other child was released after being taken care of.

There were no injuries reported concerning the horse.
