MEADE COUNTY, KY- A 17 year-old New Albany motorcyclist died on US-60 when he collided into a truck Saturday night, WLKY Digital Team reports.
A 24 year-old truck driver turned left just as the motorcyclist attempted to pass him. The teen was thrown from the motorcycle when he hit the truck’s rear door.
The young motorcyclist was pronounced dead at Baptist Health Hardin. The truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
Kentucky State Police reported to the scene around 10p.m.
The highway was closed as investigators inspected the scene.
