WALTON, KY – A teenage woman has died following a crash over a week ago on I-75 in northern Kentucky, reports FOX 19.
The crash occurred on October 4th, just after midnight near the Richwood exit on Interstate 75 south when a tractor hauling two trailers struck the rear of a car that had stopped in the left lane.
Both vehicles travelled across traffic after the impact.
Brianna Pyles of Burlington, 19-years-old, was a passenger in the rear-ended vehicle. She was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition.
Pyles was pronounced dead on Friday.
21-year-old Corbin Adams, of Dry Ridge, was the driver of the struck vehicle. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries are reported in the accident.
