Five-car pile up cause highway closure, minor injuries on I-75

LEXINGTON, KY – Only minor injuries were reported after a five-car crash shut down Southbound I-75 in Lexington on Wednesday, reports WKYT.

The accident took place in the vicinity of exit 104, where the highway was shut down for responders to clear the scene.

Authorities say that the cause of the crash was inclement weather.

Of the minor injuries reported, none required hospitalization at the scene.
