HODGENVILLE, KY – Two people were killed and three others, including one juvenile, were injured in a crash in Larue County Sunday morning.
Kentucky State police report that the collision occurred close to 10:15 a.m. on Bardstown Road when a Chrysler 300 veered into the oncoming lane and struck a Dodge Charger head on.
The crash killed one passenger in both vehicles. 34-year-old Victoria Sharp in the Charger was pronounced dead at the scene, and 41-year-old Carla Parker in the Dodge died after being taken to Baptist Health Hardin.
Three other people were hospitalized in the crash, including both drivers and a juvenile in the Dodge. Both drivers sustained life-threatening injuries while the minor’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
This accident is still currently under investigation.
