LOUISVILLE, KY – Several people were injured in a string of accidents on Interstate 71 on Saturday, according to WDRB.
Kentucky State Police responded to what is described as “at least five” accidents on a five-mile stretch of I-71 beginning around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The accidents occurred in both the northbound and southbound lanes, with no stated connection between them.
Authorities report that there were several people injured throughout the course of these accidents. No victims have been identified and the severity of the injuries and the condition of those wounded is unknown at this time.
