Motorcyclist killed, two others injured in crash on KY 90

MONTICELLO, KY – One person was killed and two more were injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Wayne County on Tuesday.

The incident occurred close to 2 p.m. when a Yamaha motorcycle southbound on KY-90 crashed into a Chevrolet pickup.

The motorcyclist, identified as 28-year-old Michael McClelland, was killed in the crash.

The two occupants of the Chevrolet were the driver 81-year-old Delmar Brumely and 71-year-old Wendell Kelsay. They were both rushed to UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital and treated for life-threatening injuries.

McClellan was allegedly driving above the speed limit. No other cause was specified for the crash.

This accident is still under investigation.
