Three-car crash kills one, injures two others in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, KY – One man was killed and two others were hospitalized in a car crash in Knox County Wednesday afternoon, WYMT reports.

The three-car collision took place on KY-11 North just outside of Barbourville.

One driver identified as Frank Doolin was killed.

Two other motorists were hospitalized, with one being flown to Kentucky Medical Center and the other taken to Knox County ARH. Kentucky State Police have identified them as Eddie Vaughn and Charles Hill.

Troopers closed the road for several hours to clear the scene.
