Passenger injured after red light runner strikes bus in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, KY – A woman was sent to the hospital with injuries Tuesday morning after a vehicle struck the Hopkinsville Transit bus she was on at South Virginia and East 14th street, WHOP reports.

The driver, Hopkinsville resident 45-year-old Michael Depp, was headed north on South Virginia when he collided with the bus. Witnesses say that the collision took place after Depp ran a red light.

Iesha Francis, a 26-year-old from Crofton, was a passenger on the bus. She was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by EMS and treated for minor injuries.
