LOUISVILLE, KY – A 14-year-old was pronounced dead and six others were hospitalized following a wreck in Grayson County on Monday, May 23rd, WDRB reports.
The accident occurred close to 2:30 PM on Western Kentucky Parkway, where Kentucky State Police believe the driver lost control of the vehicle. KSP says the vehicle, a Ford Expedition hauling a trailer, was travelling westbound when it “began to sway back and forth” and then hit the guardrail.
One of the passengers, an unidentified 14-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Six other occupants of the vehicle, including the driver, a 48-year-old woman, were taken to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. Their injuries were described as non-life threatening.
